Manufacturing Engineer

The primary objective of this position is to improve and sustain the aircraft battery manufacturing and related support processes at Acme Aerospace. The Manufacturing Engineer will work alongside production associates, maintenance technicians, engineers and the production manager to drive and support continuous improvement projects, cycle time calculations, and developing/implementing future state actions. The person in this role will wear multiple hats within the manufacturing engineering realm included but not limited to industrial, process, quality, tooling and lean manufacturing.

Moreover, they are responsible for RFQs, negotiating material costs, delivery dates and expedite fees. The candidate must be familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
